How Do I Update My Online Profile?

Keeping your online profile complete and up-to-date is crucial for attracting the right employers. You can manage all your details—including work experience, education, and skills—through the "Resume" or "Online Resume" section on both platforms.

- Log in to your jobseeker account.
- Go to the Resume tab, located next to the Chats section.
- From this page, you can update all sections of your profile, including your basic personal information, work experience, education, and skills.
App
- At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the Menu page.
- Tap Online Resume.
- From this page, you can update all sections of your profile, including your basic personal information, work experience, education, and skills.

If you have uploaded a resume file, check if you can use the sync function to automatically populate details into your online profile, saving you time.
I Have My Own Resume, How Do I Upload My Existing Resume?
I. Overview
You can easily upload your existing resume file (CV) directly to your Bossjob account. Having your resume attached is required to officially apply for jobs via the chat function.
II. Step-by-Step Instructions
Web
- Log in to your jobseeker account.
- Navigate to the Resume section.
- Navigate to the Attached Resume section (usually on the right side of the screen).
- Under Attached Resume, click on the Upload Resume button and select your desired file to upload.
App
- At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the Menu page.
- Tap Attached Resume.
- Tap on Upload to select and upload your resume file.
Note: You would be able to see a list of resumes here if you have uploaded more than 1 file.
III. File Requirements & Limits
- Format: PDF is recommended (DOC/DOCX supported)
- Limit: You can upload up to 3 resumes to your account
- Size: The file size should not exceed 30MB
I Do Not Have My Own Resume, How Do I Create a Free One on Bossjob?
I. Overview
If you don't have an existing resume, Bossjob provides a free, professional resume builder called AICV. This tool is available exclusively on the web and generates a polished, downloadable resume based on the information you have already entered into your Bossjob profile.
II. Step-by-Step Instructions
- Navigate directly to the resume builder website: https://aicv.bossjob.com/en-us
- Log in using your registered jobseeker account credentials to start crafting your AICV.
- Select your preferred resume free template from the four (4) available styles:
- Simple
- Professional
- Creative
- Modern
- The resume will be automatically generated using your profile data, ready for download.
III. Tip for the Best Resume & Access
The quality of your generated resume depends on the data you provide. Make sure your Bossjob profile (work experience, education, skills, etc.) is as complete as possible before using AICV. You can only edit or craft your AICV through the web version of the platform.
How Do I Update My Job Preferences?
I. Overview
Updating your job preferences is essential for ensuring Bossjob's AI recommends the most relevant job opportunities to you. You can easily modify your desired roles, working location, and arrangement on both the web and the app.
II. Step-by-Step Instructions
Web
- Log in to your Bossjob jobseeker account.
- Go to the Resume tab and navigate to the Job Preferences section.
- Click on the Edit button (pencil icon) on the top right of the Job Preferences section.
- Enter your desired Work Arrangement, Desired Job Title, and Desired Working Location.
- Click Confirm to save your preferences.
App
- At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the Menu page.
- Tap Job Preferences.
- Click on the Add button to add or update your preferences.
III. Maximum Preferences
You can add a maximum of 3 job preferences per category (e.g., Onsite/Hybrid and Remote). Our recommendation AI will start to recommend relevant jobs based on your updated preferences.
How to Delete/Remove My Old Attached Resume
I. Overview
You have full control over the resumes attached to your Bossjob profile. You can easily remove older or outdated files to keep your profile clean and professional.
Important Prerequisite: To remove an attached resume, you must have more than one (1) file uploaded to your account.
II. Step-by-Step Instructions
Web
- Log in to your jobseeker account.
- Go to the Resume tab → Attached Resume section (usually on the right side).
- Click the 3 dots (...) next to the resume file you wish to remove.
- Select Delete to remove the file from your uploaded list.
- Ensure your most updated resume remains attached.
App
- Navigate to the Menu page from the bottom navigation bar.
- Go to Attached Resume to view your list of uploaded files.
- Tap the 3 dots (...) next to the file you wish to delete, then select Delete.
III. Note on File Management
You can upload up to 3 resumes to your account. Deleting an old file allows you to upload a new one if you are already at the maximum limit.
