Prohibition: Duplicate job posting (same location, job title, and job function) are strictly prohibited to avoid spam postings.


How do I edit/close job post


I. Overview


You can easily update the details of an active job or close a role once it has been filled directly from the Manage Jobs section of your account.

  • You will see a list of all your posted jobs.
  • To Edit a Job: On the right side of the job entry, click the Edit button (pencil icon)

App

  • Tap the + icon at the top right to access the 'Manage Jobs' page.
  • Tap on the active job you wish to modify.
  • On the job details screen, select either Edit or Close at the bottom.

Important Note


Our team reviews and verifies new companies registered and approves job postings within our working hours, which are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, except holidays. If you edit an active job, it will return to Pending status for review. In case your submission hasn't been reviewed within 24-48 hours, contact our customer support at support@bossjob.com if you have more questions.

How to view the Talents’ Resume

Talent profiles and resumes are easily accessible directly from your chat conversations. This allows you to quickly review a candidate's background, experience, and uploaded CV before deciding on the next step.

  1. Go to Chat: Navigate to the Chat page using the left navigation bar.
  2. Select Talent: Click on the conversation with the talent whose profile you want to view.
  3. Review Details: In the chat window, their key information will be displayed (often in a sidebar):

  • Profile: Basic details like job preferences, work experience, education, and skills.
  • Resume: The talent’s uploaded CV document.

App
  1. Access Chat: Open the chat with talent.
  2. Tap Profile: Tap the talent's profile picture at the top of the chat screen.
  3. View: This will open their full profile, where you can Request or Approve a resume (if applicable) or view the resume attachment.


Reminder for Resume Visibility


The full uploaded CV is only visible if the talent has explicitly approved your request to share it via the ’Request Resume’ feature in the chat. If the resume is missing, send a request in the chat window.


How to Send an Interview Invitation to a Talent

You can invite a talent to an interview directly from the chat window on both the web and the app. This allows you to quickly set up either an online or onsite meeting and send all necessary details in one go.

  1. Go to the Chat with the talent you’d like to interview.
  2. Locate the Invite Feature:
  • Web: At the bottom of the chat box, click the Interview Invite button.

  • App: At the top of the chat, tap the Interview icon (often a calendar or handshake icon).

A pop-up will appear where you must:

  • Choose between an Online or Onsite interview.
  • Fill in all required fields (Date, Time, specific location or meeting link, etc.)


Understanding the ‘Not Suitable’ Action in Chat

The Not Suitable action is used to quickly filter and manage your recruitment pipeline, indicating that talent is not the right fit for the role you are discussing.

When you select Not Suitable in a chat conversation, the following actions occur:

  • You will immediately stop receiving notifications from that specific talent. This helps you focus on your active, most promising candidates.
  • You will be given the option to notify the talent with a reason for the rejection. You can choose to provide this feedback for a better candidate experience or dismiss talent silently.


III. Reversing Your Decision (Undo)


If you change your mind immediately after selecting ‘Not Suitable’, you can easily reverse the action by clicking the Undo link or button that appears briefly at the bottom of the chat window.

How to Switch the Job Role in a Chat Discussion

If you determine a talent is a better fit for a different role or wish to discuss an alternative opening, you can easily switch the job associated with your conversation right in the chat interface. This ensures accurate tracking and organization.

  • Go to Chat: Navigate to the specific chat with the talent.
  • Find Job Switcher: Locate and click Jobs Communicated directly below the talent’s name.
  • Select New Job: A dropdown menu will appear showing your active job posts. Click the one you wish to discuss.

  • Open Chat: Go to the chat conversation with the talent.
  • Access Menu: At the bottom of the chat screen, tap the rounded ‘+’ icon to open the chat action menu.
  • Select Action: Tap Change Job from the options.
  • Choose New Job: Select the desired job post to link to the conversation.


💡 Tip for Employers: Switching the job role is important because it updates the talent’s status and application history on your end, ensuring your recruitment analytics are accurate.


Why I can't access the Talent's Resume


I. Overview


The full resume (uploaded CV) of a talent will only appear if the talent has explicitly given consent for you to view it. If the document is missing, it is typically due to a lack of talent approval.


II. Reasons for Missing Resume


If you are not seeing a talent’s resume in the designated "Resume" section, it usually means one of two things:

  1. Talent Declined: The talent has either explicitly declined your request to share their resume.
  2. Consent Pending/Missing: The talent has not yet submitted their full resume to you, or they have not approved the necessary sharing consent.


III. Resolution Steps


You can easily attempt to resolve this directly through the chat feature:

  1. Use the Function: Request the resume again by using the Request Resume function available within the chat window.
  2. Reach Out: Send a message to the talent via chat, politely reminding them to approve the sharing request or upload their CV.

How to Find and Search for Talents


I. Overview


Bossjob offers two (2) main ways to discover candidates: using our AI-driven recommendation engine for instant matches or conducting targeted searches across our talent database.


II. Methods for Talent Discovery


A. Recommended Talents (Reco Talents–Unlimited Chats with the Candidates)

This is the fastest and most efficient way to start chatting with active, relevant candidates instantly and at no cost.

  • Web: Visit Reco Talents on your dashboard to see a curated list of active and relevant candidates.
  • App: Browse for talents on the main Talents tab. The system recommends candidates based on the job functions and details you have posted.


B. Talent Search (Web only)

Use the search function when you need to find a candidate with specific criteria.

  • Web: Click Search Talent on the left navigation bar.
  • Filter: Use precise filters such as current job title, location, school, job function, and more to quickly narrow down and find the exact candidates you need.


IMPORTANT NOTE: The dedicated Talent Search function with detailed filtering options is only applicable via the web version of the employer dashboard.

Credit Note: This means that utilizing the advanced talent search feature consumes the same type and amount of credit as initiating a new chat conversation with a talent: 1 Talent Search credits = 1 Chat credit.

Why is my Company Profile Verification Failing?


I. Overview


Company verification is essential for maintaining the integrity and security of the Bossjob platform. If your company verification is rejected, the fastest path to resolution is checking the provided feedback.

We provide specific information to help you get verified quickly.

  • Check the Reason for Failure: When verification fails, the system will include the exact reason for rejection (e.g., mismatched details, unclear or expired document, invalid document).
  • Update Details: Based on feedback, update the necessary company information or documentation on your profile.
  • Resubmit Document: Once corrected, resubmit your updated profile and documents for a second verification review.

What are the accepted or valid documents?

Why Can't I Join a Company?

If you are an employer user attempting to join your organization on Bossjob, your access might be blocked due to the company's verification status or pending approval from your administrator.


II. Two Primary Reasons for Access Failure


There are two (2) main reasons why you are currently unable to join a company:

  • Company is Not Verified: The organization you are attempting to join has not yet successfully completed the necessary company profile verification process.
  • Pending Administrator Approval: Your request to join the company's employer account has not yet been reviewed and approved by the existing Company Administrator.

The fastest way to gain access is to contact your organization internally.

  • Contact Your Company Admin: We highly recommend reaching out directly to your Company Administrator to confirm two things:
  1. The overall verification status of the company profile.
  2. To request that they approve your pending join request.

How to Change my Company’s Information?


I. Overview


To maintain security and data integrity, only the designated Admin user of the employer account has permission to view and edit the company’s core information (e.g., address, description, industry).

  • Access the employer dashboard by logging in with the registered email address or phone number at https://employer.bossjob.com/.
  • From the left navigation bar, click on the My Company page.
  • From this page, the Admin user can edit and save the company’s information.


App
  • Log in to your employer account using the correct registered email address or phone number.
  • Go to the Menu page (usually via the bottom navigation bar) → Company Information
  • From this screen, you will be able to edit and update your company's information.

ADMIN RIGHTS REQUIRED

  • If you are unable to edit company information, ensure you have the necessary Admin access rights.
  • If not, please contact your company’s current Admin to request the changes or be granted Admin status.


How to Assign a New Company Administrator


I. Overview


Only the current Admin user of the employer account can assign or transfer administrative rights to another team member. This process is necessary to ensure continuity of company management on Bossjob.

  • Under the Company Management list, select the team member you wish to promote to Admin.
  • Change their role/access level to Admin and confirm the change.

  • Select the desired member and choose the option to pass the administration access to this team member.


How to Change or Leave Your Company


I. Overview


If you are no longer affiliated with your current organization or need to switch the company you represent, you can remove yourself from the employer account using your personal settings.

  • Click your profile photo in the upper right corner of your screen
  • From the dropdown menu, go to My SettingsMy Company
  • Locate the company name you are currently associated with and click Change Company next to it.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your departure or switch to a new employer account.

  • Click the company name listed directly under your name/profile photo.
  • Navigate and click My Company within the settings.
  • On the Company profile screen, click the Change or Leave the Company option.

Why can't I leave?

If the option to leave is unavailable, it is likely that you are the sole Admin of the company profile. You must first assign a new Admin before you can successfully remove yourself.

I. Overview


Administrative access determines who can make critical changes to the company profile and manage other team members, ensuring proper control over your organization's presence on Bossjob.


II. Admin Multiplicity and Limitations


Can there be more than 1 company administrator?


Yes. Your company is allowed to have more than one administrator. We highly recommend assigning at least two (2) Admins to ensure continuous management access and to serve as a backup in case the primary Admin is unavailable.


Why can't I change certain information about the company?


The ability to edit core company information (e.g., legal name, address) and the power to approve new team member requests are restricted to Admin users only.


Your Immediate Action:


  1. You likely do not have the necessary Admin access rights. Non-admin team members cannot perform these critical functions.
  2. Please confirm that you have been granted administrative rights. If not, contact your company’s current Admin to do one of the following:
  • Make the changes or approve the member request on your behalf.
  • Request they promote your account to Admin status.

How to Add Team Members to Your Company Account


I. Overview


You can easily invite and add new team members to your company account to help manage recruitment activities. Only Admin users have the necessary permissions to generate these invitation links and set access levels.

  • Start Invitation: Under the Company Management section, click the Add button.
