How do I apply for a job at Bossjob ?

Chat directly with the Boss, as easy as that ! Out with the old way of applying for a job, get instant feedback and queries answered via chat. Click on ‘Chat & Apply’ to start chatting with the Boss. An application will be made when you have sent over your resume to Boss !

Why can’t I send a resume to Boss ?

To send your resume, please make sure you’ve uploaded your most recent version through your registered jobseeker account.
Once your resume is uploaded, simply click the “Send Resume” button in the chat box to proceed.

Why can’t I exchange my mobile number with Boss ?

Click the Exchange Mobile Number button in the chat box.
Enter your correct country code along with your updated mobile number.
Click Send OTP — you’ll receive a code via SMS.
Enter the OTP and click Verify.
Once verified, your mobile number will be shared with the employer.

Interview

I can’t make it for the interview, how do I cancel or reschedule ?

Web:

Go to the respective chat with Boss whom you have scheduled for an interview
On the top right corner of the chat, click on the ‘Calendar’ icon.
Click on ‘Cancel Interview’.

Note: you will not be able to cancel the interview if it’s less than 6 hours before the scheduled timing.

App:
At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the ‘Menu’ page → Interview
At the interview schedule, tap on specific interview that you will not be able to make it
Under ‘Progress’ tap on ‘Cancel’

I am not able to check-in for my interview

Web:

I am not able to report issues regarding the interview

Ensure that you have checked-in for the interview. You can only report any issues regarding the interview after you have checked-in.

Online Profile/Resume

How do I update my online profile ?

Web:

Login to your jobseeker account → Go to Resume
Here, you can update your profile, from basic personal information, work experience, education, skills, etc.

App:

At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the ‘ Menu’ page → Online Resume

I have my own resume, how do I upload my existing resume ?

Web:

Login to your jobseeker account → Go to Resume → Navigate to Attached Resume on the right side
Under Attached Resume, click on the Upload resume button and select your desired file to upload!

App:

At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the ‘Menu’ page → Attached Resume
Tap on Upload to upload your resume.
You would be able to see a list of resumes here if you have more than 1 resume.

I do not have my own resume, how do I create a free one on Bossjob ?

How do I update my job preferences ?

Web:

Login to your Bossjob jobseeker account → Go to Resume → Navigate to Job Preferences section
Click on the edit symbol (pencil) on top right of job preferences section
Enter your desired Work Arrangement, Desired Job title, Desired Working Location
Click Confirm and your job preferences will be updated
Our recommendation A.I. will start to recommend you relevant jobs in 24 hours

App:

At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the Menu page → Job Preferences
Click on the Add button to add more than 1 job preference.

Where do I find all my applied jobs ?

You can view all your applied jobs in the Chat section of your account.

Where do I find all my saved jobs ?

Web:

Click on the dropdown under your profile picture on the top right corner → Recommended Jobs → Navigate on the right side and click Saved (Alternatively, click here)

App:

At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the Menu page → Saved at the top section

How do I report recruitment scams/inappropriate behaviour of Boss ?

While we do our best to verify Boss(es) who are hiring on Bossjob, you should be cautious when they:
Requires you to travel for interview and book your tickets via a third party travel agency and promise to reimburse you later
Requires you to pay before processing your application
Invites you to interviews for illegal sales scheme or MLM
Are offering a package which is too unrealistic
Are dubious or misleading

Please exercise caution when you are asked to meet the Boss(es) for an in-person interview.
Conduct research on the legitimacy of the company
Ask to meet in public places
Inform family members or close friends about your interview place and time
